Beth has been a high school teacher for the last 25 years, with the last 20 being at the St Vrain Valley School District. She is a math teacher by trade, but started teaching computer science 17 years ago and cybersecurity 3 years ago. At her current position at the Innovation Center, she is building a Cybersecurity pathway that serves the entire district. The classes in that pathway are: Intro to Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Python in Cybersecurity, Linux Essentials (coming next year), and Security + (coming in 2 years). The US Cyber Range has been an integral part of both her Intro and Ethical Hacking classes. It has allowed students to learn cyber concepts in a hands-on and very authentic way.
